Learn the techniques used by the top DJs, producers, and musicians to produce your own artistic ideas through music. This session is for students who want to experiment with creating and mixing sounds, with or without a musical background. Best suited for students in grades 9-12.

Ceramics: Intro to Wheel Throwing

Learn to sling mud and create beautiful and functional items! In this course we'll explore both the technical and creative side of throwing on the potters wheel. This is designed for complete beginners as well as those with some experience. Come get dirty with us! Due to drying and firing times, pottery will be ready for pick up 10 days after class ends/

Want to get more out of your photos? Learn to boss your camera around as you explore the basics of photography and composition through interactive activities. By the end of the course you will be able to compose and capture shots while shooting manually on a DSLR camera.

Game Makers: Intro to Level Design

Illustration: Character Design Studio

Create character concepts in a fast-paced collaborative studio environment and experience what it's like to be a professional illustrator. Through rapid prototyping and group feedback, learn the design process behind creating a character for a client and how to take their feedback and make it even stronger.

Intro to Painting: Still Life

An introduction to acrylic painting for beginning artists, students will learn about using brushes, mixing colors, and composition as we paint from still life objects. A daily demonstration will be followed by studio time and individualized instruction each day.

Intro to Video: Horror Movie Trailer

Shibori Summer

If you've ever enjoyed tie-dyeing, you'll love the Japanese art of Shibori! Learn how to do several different ties using string, clamps, and even plastic tubes to create unique patterns on your fabric. Students will leave with several multi-functional hand-dyed pieces.
